Jennifer Aniston will not sit down for peace talks with Angelina Jolie, according to US reports.
Jolie suggested in a recent interview she would be happy to talk to Aniston if the former
Friends star wanted to.
Jolie told
Vogue magazine that she and Aniston's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, had not got together until his marriage had ended.
Aniston, 37, is reportedly upset that Jolie has re-opened old and painful wounds.
"Jen says Angelina could have told
Vogue that she had tried to contact her and that Jen had already made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with her," an insider told
Star magazine.
Angelina said in the interview that she and Pitt, 43, were just "very, very good friends" when they filmed
Mr. & Mrs. Smith together.
"Angelina has opened up some old wounds with Jen, wounds she thought had healed," the source told the magazine.
"It seems like revisionist history to her to paint this picture of how Angelina and Brad got together. Jen says a lot of it is plain bull.
"Why Angelina feels the need to explain herself now, when they've all moved on with their lives, is beyond her.
"Jen wishes that Angelina had never uttered her name."
