British actor Hugh Dancy has been named in US reports as the "other man" after pretty Hollywood star Claire Danes split from boyfriend Billy Crudup.
Sources say the Romeo & Juliet actress and Basic Instinct 2 star Hugh, 31, got together in November - a month before she broke up with 38-year-old Crudup.
They were filming new movie drama Evening and staying at a hotel when they became close, the insider says.
The source told the New York Daily News: "They shared a bed "with the door two feet ajar, and everybody listening in his suite.
"The cast was pretty much drunk every night.
The cast was staying at a hotel in Newport, in Rhode Island.
Dancy's manager and Danes' publicist declined to comment.
