Pop star Christina Aguilera is the latest superstar about to become a mum, according to US reports, although her publicist has denied the claim.
The 'Dirrty' singer was seen with husband Jordan Bratman going on a $US3000 ($3800) spending spree in Bellini, one of Beverly Hills' top baby clothing stores.
And the stars openly talked about how they were expecting — but said they did not yet know the sex of their child.
Aguilera's spokeswoman has denied the reports.
But a clerk in the store insisted: "She came in with her husband and he sat in one of the big chairs and let her do her shopping.
"They said they don't know what they're having."
The store employee, who says the Aguilera paid for her purchases in cash, says the star spoke to her about her pregnancy personally.
"They seemed really excited," the unnamed clerk said.
"She was talking to another customer and she said she took a home pregnancy test and that it was positive.
"She kept saying they'd have to come back when they knew the sex of the baby."
In Touch magazine says the star's shopping spree included "a dozen Petit Bateau onesies, several little Giraffe blankets, a polkadot diaper bag and a Peg Perego stroller."
But Aguilera is denying the reports. "She said it is not true and she
wasn't in Bellini," her spokeswoman says.
