Lindsay Lohan has continued her downward spiral — this time she has her legs wrapped firmly around a stripper's pole.

A creepy new video of the star doing striptease has popped up on the website for her new movie I Know Who Killed Me.

Meanwhile, Lohan's ex-con dad says his daughter's arrest for drink-driving was "inevitable".

Michael Lohan, who has spent time in prison for fraud and is estranged from the actress, expressed unhappiness with his daughter's lifestyle and begged her to get in touch.

"Please honey, get in touch with me and let's get this right," he told US news network WNBC.

Lohan, 20, was thrust into the media spotlight once again on Saturday after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by Beverly Hills Police.

The actress crashed her convertible Mercedes Benz, just off Sunset Boulevard, at around 5.30am, following a night of partying with friends.

Lohan — who is below the legal drinking age in the United States — fled the scene and was taken to Century City Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

But cops caught up with her, placed her under arrest and issued her with a citation for DUI. She has a preliminary court date of August 24.

A police spokesman also confirmed a "useable" amount of cocaine had been found in Lindsay's car after the prang.

Following news of his daughter's brush with the law, Michael Lohan said he believed she had too many bad influences around her.

"I've been seeing this all along," he said.

"It just really bothers me that too many people are around Lindsay because of what they can get from her, instead of [being there] for Lindsay herself and caring about her.

"She's not just the goose that laid the golden egg, she's a child, a human being."

In 2004, it emerged that Michael Lohan had spent many of his daughter's preteen years in prison, for securities fraud.

And in 2005 he was sent back to jail for "aggravated unlicensed driving" and attempted assault.

Later that year his divorce case was settled with Lindsay's mother Dina, whose attorney said: "Dina and the children are delighted that this chapter in their lives is finally over."

But Michael Lohan has made no secret of his desire to build bridges with his children and yesterday (Sunday) said he wished his ex-wife would care for their daughter like he does.

"All the deception and lies have just compounded... [this arrest] was inevitable," he said.

"Lindsay, I've been trying to get this message to you for a long time now — I'm here for you, I love you.

"This is about love and forgiveness ... I'm your father and that's all that matters to me.

"I don't want anything from you but to be there for you ... you're the most important thing in my life.

"Please honey, get in touch with me and let's get this right."

Saturday's car crash was Lohan's third accident in two years.

In October 2005, the actress and a passenger received minor injuries when her convertible hit a van in West Hollywood.

Authorities said the van driver, who also received minor injuries, was at fault.

And a few months earlier, the star collided with a minivan carrying paparazzi, as they followed her from an LA restaurant.

A photographer was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, but prosecutors never charged him.

In January this year, Lohan said she had checked into rehab to battle alcoholism — and the actress has also been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
