Jolie wears $26 dress to red carpet

Jolie, who Forbes ranks as the 14th most powerful celebrity in the world, wore the cheap silk-velvet dress on the red carpet for the premiere of A Mighty Heart in New York.

Jolie shunned high-profile designers for the chic dress she got at Los Angeles vintage boutique Wasteland, according to reports.

Her pal spotted the dress for Jolie as they went looking for baby clothes and it fit perfectly, she told Access Hollywood.

But it was not all low-cost for Jolie, as she matched the dress with a pair of glamorous $800 Christian Louboutin shoes.
