Paula Abdul will perform for the first time in nearly 10 years at this year's Super Bowl.
The American Idol judge and 90s pop star will sing to a crowd of thousands during pre-match entertainment.
Abdul hasn't released an album since 1995 after a plane crash caused serious injury to her back.
"I had four plates and 14 cervical spinal surgeries," Paula Abdul said at a Super Bowl event.
"It all happened during the time that I disappeared and no-one knew where I went. For five-and-a-half years, I went through paralysis, the worst experience, and then I came back on American Idol, that was my first time back out there."
Abdul was involved in an emergency plane landing in 1992 and says that was a key reason why she abandoned her multi-platinum singing career.
Fellow idol judge Randy Jackson teamed up with Abdul on the new song, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow".
