It is a scene thought only to exist in the childish fantasies of heterosexual men.
But no, cheerleaders really do like to get drunk and strip naked — and apparently are inclined to capture it on camera too.
Or so some risqué photographs to emerge on the internet suggest.
The Sacramento Kings basketball team in the US is in damage control after a series of photos were published online showing its cheerleading squad quaffing champagne and posing in G-strings, FOX Sports reports.
The revealing photos, taken at what appears to be a small all-girls gathering, were posted on the sports blog WithLeather.com under a blog entry titled "Sacramento Kings Dancers Are Awesome".
Blogger Matt Ufford reported the moral dilemma he faced in deciding whether or not to publish.
"If I help distribute these photos to the masses, then the fun dancers might get kicked off the squad and/or stop sharing their sexy photos, which could lead to a world in which naughty cheerleaders are restricted to fictional porn fantasies," Mr Ufford wrote in his blog.
"But then if I don't share the pictures then nobody gets to enjoy them, and what's the point of that?".
The Sacramento Kings said the photos were published without the knowledge or permission of its cheerleading squad and that the photos "do not adhere to the principles or values of the Sacramento Kings organisation."
The pictures surfaced in the wake of another photo scandal, involving some of Hong Kong's most well-known celebrities.
