Tennis heartthrob Anna Kournikova is being sued over claims she plagiarised the music score behind her raunchy 2003 film A Date With Anna.
Failed musician Black Swann real name Christopher Jerry Swann filed a lawsuit against Kournikova and the producers of the DVD for "substantial damages" in a US federal court, website tmz.com reports.
Swann claims he was in talks with record labels at one stage to sign a deal for his score but the negotiations stalled.
According to the website, Swann walked into a music store in San Diego and was shocked to find his songs being used as a soundtrack to a A Date With Anna.
He claims 22 minutes of his original recordings were used without his permission.
A Date With Anna documents the making of Kournikova's famous 2003 pin-up calendar which was shot in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Both the calendar and film continue to rake in profits for the former tennis star even as her on-court success has waned.
