Jonathan has been the newsreader at Channel Nine Darwin since 2000.
After completing a communications degree at Canberra University, he began his media career at TCN Channel Nine Sydney as an assistant chief of staff, before heading to Orange (NSW) as a news reporter with Prime Television and radio station 2GZ.
In 1996, Jonathan made his first trip to the Top End, joining Channel Eight (now Channel Nine) as the station's sports journalist and presenter.
He continued his career with stints at NBN Television Newcastle (sports journalist and presenter, NBN News) and Channel Nine Sydney (sports journalist and presenter, Nine Early Morning News), before returning to Darwin as the anchor of the Territory's top rating nightly news service.
Jonathan continues to be a working and award-winning journalist. He is actively involved in community events and is a regular host of corporate functions and awards presentations.
He is married with three children Zach, Bailey and McKenzie and enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing sports, particularly golf, tennis and indoor cricket.
