Teen cult hero and Big Brother intruder Corey Worthington has reportedly banked $200,000 since exploding onto the national scene at the start of the year and now he has a movie in the works.
His agent Max Markson was coy about discussing figures, saying his net worth fell "well short" of the claim, but told the Courier-Mail his client was getting a lot more than the proverbial 15 minutes out of his fame.
"I will say he has done very, very well for himself over the past few months and I am very proud of him," he said.
"This is only the beginning for him."
The Courier-Mail claims a source close to the Big Brother crew said Worthington had already pocketed $200,000 thanks to appearances on the reality show, starring in an overseas commercial and releasing a single.
Worthington's mother said on radio last month that he would be receiving $10,000 per episode of Big Brother, netting him $80,000 so far.
His debut single, a cover of the Beastie Boys' 1986 hit '(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)', is topping mobile ringtone charts and putting him in an illustrious club along with Crazy Frog, Gummi Bear and the Snuggle Bunny.
"And there are other plans ahead for him," Markson said, claiming a film career will be the next step once Worthington leaves the BB house.
