Big Brother housemate Travis has been diagnosed with shingles after he complained of a stomach rash and requested the assistance of the show's doctor.
Travis, 20, complained of soreness on Saturday three weeks after he entered the house after waking up in the bed he was sharing with the 12 other contestants.
He has been given medication and will stay on in the house.
Shingles, a viral disease similar to chicken pox, can cause headaches and fever and is often brought on by stress and a weakened immune system.
Meanwhile, waitress Rebecca has voted herself off the show after complaining the experience had proved too difficult.
"I realised halfway through the first week that it wasn't for me," she told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O.
"I need my space and I felt a bit crowded and not being able to pick up the phone was something I struggled with."
Rebecca, 23, is the fifth contestant to leave the show.
