Tania Zaetta is fearful her Bollywood career will be left in tatters following "disgusting" allegations she had sex with Australian troops during a tour of Afghanistan.

The former Who Dares Wins host vehemently denied the claims in an interview with A Current Affair, saying there was not even an opportunity to have sex with diggers.

"It's complete, made-up lies and for it to end up public knowledge ... is damaging to a woman's career and to her reputation," Zaetta said.

"Even if a person would want to (have sex) I don't know where you would go.

"You're never alone with any soliders, you are in full view of everybody else, even when you are walking to the toilets.

"There are people walking everywhere, doing their job, their patrols, coming in and out of shifts."

Zaetta, who has shot to fame in India after starring in several Bollywood productions, said she felt she deserved an apology because her family name and career were "suddenly at stake".

"It's taken me ten years to be able to get a look-in there … it's a pretty damn tough country to go into as a single, famous foreigner girl," she said.

"When things like this get into countries like that it's not taken lightly.

"Sex scandals — rumoured, alleged, bad Chinese whispers, whatever it is — aren't taken kindly.

"I did laugh this off at first ... (but) I am hurt that this has damaged my name and this is why I wanted to speak up.

"How does a supposed document that supposedly has my name on it get leaked in the first place?

"That's a little bit concerning for the security of the country."

Zaetta denied ever saying that if "you couldn't get a date in Iraq then you had no hope", claiming the statement was made by her colleagues while she filled in as a host at a Gold Coast radio station.

Rocker Angry Anderson, who is allegedly named on the defence department documents as the whistle-blower, maintains he never made the sex claims.

"I didn't make allegations against Tania for any reason on any subject," Anderson said.

"As far as I'm concerned she went over there and conducted herself in a very professional manner as all members of the party did.

"I saw her being a typical very attractive woman, very attractive to those guys and she was doing her job the best she knew how."

Anderson said if photos and video from the alleged tryst surfaced that it "wouldn't be good".

Members of a film crew travelling with Zaetta through Afghanistan last month said they didn't see any evidence of her having sex with troops.

ABC program Australian Story had a three-member crew filming Zaetta and other performers when the breach of defence department rules is alleged to have occurred.

"We have checked with our team and nobody witnessed anything that would tally with the allegations in the media today," a spokesperson for Australian Story told ninemsn.

"Beyond that any alleged breach of ADF rules is clearly a matter for the ADF."

Fellow entertainer John Clinton of the band The Wolverines, who was also on the tour, told ninemsn the story was "just crazy".

"If someone wanted to allege the same thing about me I'd have to ask, 'where did I get the time and what bush am I going to hide behind'?" he said.

"There weren't any bushes, especially in Tarin Kowt."

He said performers were too busy adhering to the military lifestyle of dawn wake-ups and constant work to have time for controversial behaviour.
