A murdered teenage actor who appears in the upcoming Harry Potter film was stabbed to death in a revenge attack, it has been claimed.
A week before Robert Knox, 18, was killed by a knife wound to the neck, a man had allegedly threatened to slit his brother's throat after an argument over a mobile phone.
A friend of Knox's had reportedly clashed with a man, who he believed had stolen his mobile phone, last Friday night.
Accompanied by another man, the alleged thief then threatened Knox and his 17-year-old brother Jamie.
"One of them went up to Jamie and said, 'I'm going to get you, I’m going to slit your throat'," the Daily Mail reported a witness as saying.
A week later, his older brother died in almost identical fashion.
The two attackers were wrestled to the ground after allegedly stabbing several people in a frenzied attack outside a London bar.
Earlier, Knox had spotted the men outside the hotel and warned security not to let them inside, reports say.
His warning was apparently ignored.
British police have arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
The aspiring actor had just received his big break with his role as Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
Formerly an overweight child, he had previously told a newspaper he had overcome three years of severe bullying at school.
"The bullying got so bad I dreaded going into school," Knox said in 2004.
"I used to be so unconfident because of my weight and the bullying … But nothing gets to me now."
