The Big Brother rumour mill is spinning with talk movie star Adam Sandler will be dropping into the house sometime this month.
Co-host and fan favourite Mike Goldman dropped the hint on his Courier Mail blog, titled "Massive Hollywood star to hit BB", dispelling rumours D-lister Tara Reid would enter the compound.
"The American Pie girl Tara Reid going into the Big Brother house story was just another stupid rumour … but I can start a rumour now that's 100 percent true," Goldman wrote in his blog.
"A massive Hollywood celebrity will be dropping in on Big Brother before the month is out. Now who could it be?
"Well it's my favourite Hollywood celebrity by far and I'm so excited, I'm jumping out of my skin!"
Fans on both the official BB and Behind Big Brother forums leapt on Goldman's comments and the clear favourite of the speculators is funnyman Sandler.
Lending weight to the rumour is the housemates' weekly task of operating the "Big Brother Salon", a hairdressing salon that has obvious tie-ins with Sandler's latest film You Don't Mess With The Zohan.
The housemates will also been shown a sneak peak at the film, which stars Sandler as a Israeli commando who fakes his own death to become a New York hairdresser.
Sandler is also reportedly travelling to the Gold Coast, home of the BB compound, to appear for talk show Rove.
A Network Ten spokesman told ninemsn he could neither deny nor confirm the rumour.
