Sarah Jessica Parker's husband Matthew Broderick has refused to comment on a report alleging he had an affair while his more high-profile wife filmed the Sex and the City movie.
Broderick's spokesman Simon Hall did not deny yesterday's report in US magazine Star, instead telling The Sun: "There will be no comment."
Star reported Broderick met a 25-year-old redhead in a Manhattan bar last November and embarked on an affair that finished four months later.
Broderick, who married to Parker 11 years ago, was seen going to the woman's apartment carrying flowers and wine, the report claimed, quoting a friend of the woman.
The report was picked up by numerous websites, however by late afternoon the original story was no longer accessible on Star's website.
Parker, who has a five-year-old son with Broderick, found out about the alleged infidelity in February.
