A fire at Hobart's Wrest Point Casino complex has caused more than $200,000 damage to a building on the site.
Three employees were working on the second floor of the technology service building on the grounds of the casino complex when one smelt smoke about 6.30pm (AEST) Tuesday, a Tasmania Fire Service spokesman said.
The worker discovered fire under the floor at the back of the building.
Triple-0 emergency calls flooded in, and firefighters from Hobart raced to the complex to find the back of the building engulfed in flames.
Crews limited damage to two rooms, but estimated damage to the building and contents at more than $200,000.
Fire crews will on Wednesday investigate the source of the fire.
