Spears' breastfeeding photos stolen

Entertainment website TMZ.com reports US authorities are hunting someone peddling photos showing the 17-year-old breastfeeding newborn daughter Maddie.

It's believed the image is one of 12 photos taken of Britney, Jamie Lynn, her boyfriend Casey Aldridge and their daughter.

The photos were stored on Aldridge's digital camera.

TMZ claims the camera's memory card was taken to the couple's local Wal-Mart in their home state of Louisiana for prints, and authorities believe someone at the store made extra copies to sell off.

The offending photo shows Jamie Lynn's left breast.

It's understood that because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling or buying the images could be a breach of federal pornography laws, and could land either party in prison.

As they have been unlawfully taken, any buyer could be prosecuted for receiving stolen goods.

Among the photos are images of Britney holding the baby, as well as the rest of the family surrounding Jamie Lynn's hospital bed following the birth.

TMZ also said they've been informed that Britney's lawyers are considering "going after" Wal-Mart for the alleged security breach.

By definition, porn is the depiction of genitalia or acts of sex. A woman breastfeeding is not pornography, therefore. Nor would it be if the baby wasn't in the shot. Full stop.

Depends on your idea of pornography. Some people 'get off' on looking at 50 year old women wearing skimpy clothes (think Madonna), but we don't call that porn. I don't think someone breastfeeding is porn, besides if the baby is feeding, you would not be seeing nipple. If you can't see nipple in magazines, etc. it is allowed to be printed - what's the difference? Poor thing, hopefully she's mature enough to just let it pass even though they are personal photos. Who cares really - there is probably no more flesh showing than if she was wearing a bikini top! You'd have to be pretty lame to buy the photos.

for you to take photos for yourself and family that is not classified as porn but for thes photographs to be stolen and old that would be classified as child pornography for the people who stole and sold and bought the photos and should be charged accordingly

There is nothing wrong with the photo, but its not right for someone to take the image without permission and show it to the public, but is it just me or does it seem like a really stupid thing for them to do to take these photos to your local supermarket to be developed by someone else. They may as will have given them another copy of the photos. They couldn't have printed them at one of those self serve machines? I'm sure they have staff who could have done it for them.

Well, it depends on who is the one breast feedin, and what set the picture is taken on. In this case, no, it's not pornography. I mean, it's a mother feeding her child peacefully. Whoever was the one who sent these pictures out is sick, as are the people who bought these pictures aswell. Filthy, disgusting people. You should all go to hell for this. It's Jamie Lynn's privacy, as with the rest of her family. No-one should invade other people's privacy without the person's permission.

Breastfeeding a baby is natural! How the crap is that classified as child pornography? That's so stupid, what kind of loser would think it is, and steal some pictures! I fully agree with Kez from Gympie. If it weren't a celebrity, no one would care. So lame. Gosh people.
