Nicole Kidman says ex-husband Tom Cruise has found a "more profound love" with current wife Katie Holmes.
"I didn't foresee it, that you can meet somebody who you have a deep and more profound love with," the Oscar award-winning actress says in Elle magazine.
"I don't mean to take away anything with Tom, but I would hope that he has the same thing — I know he has the same thing with Katie,” Kidman is quoted as saying.
"You move into a stage where you're able to be a more fuller person in your relationship."
Kidman, 41, married 40-year-old musician Keith Urban in 2006. She had been married to Cruise for 11 years when they divorced in 2001.
Cruise, 46, also remarried in 2006 — to 29-year-old actress Katie Holmes.
But Kidman has no regrets about marrying her Days of Thunder co-star at 22 years of age.
"Would I want my kids to get married at that age? No!" Kidman said.
"But that was an extraordinary thing for me ... [Tom] taught me an enormous amount, as a girl into a woman.
"Absolutely, I would do it again."
Kidman also opens up about her fierce protectiveness of daughter Sunday Rose, whom she gave birth to in July.
"When it comes to my kids, I'm just like a lioness," Kidman said.
"I'm like, 'No one gets near my babies!'"
"That's why we chose not to sell photos of her ... We just want to have our little cocoon."
