A barefoot and relaxed Delta Goodrem has taken to the stage for an exclusive performance at the Sydney Opera House.
The 23-year old was performing for the Max Sessions attended by a host of celebrities including her fiance Brian McFadden, Toni Pearen and Jane Ferguson - the sister of the Dutchess of York.
Wearing a flowing elbow length purple maxi-dress she sung a mix of old songs and new music from her number one album Delta.
Goodrem, who has recently converted to a more adult look, also performed a cover of the song written for Elvis Presley, Black Velvet, dancing barefoot on the piano.
"I've always wanted to do that," she said.
"I'm going to be mortified when I see the tape," she joked.
Asked what she'd got out of living and working overseas she said it had allowed her to grow up and become an adult.
"I had been very protected from my family... I had a very close-knit family growing up," she said.
"I was able to really not feel that there was any pressure."
