A man has been charged with the manslaughter of his older brother who died after the pair fought on Anzac Day.
Kristen McCall, 32, died on April 29 in Sydney's Prince Of Wales Hospital after being punched in the face four days earlier by his 26-year-old brother Benjamin McCall, Sydney's Waverley Local Court was told on Thursday.
Police allege Kristen McCall had been drinking at the Clovelly RSL, in Sydney's east, on April 25 when staff asked him to leave at about 8.45pm.
He left with his brother and the pair argued before the older sibling allegedly was hit in the face, suffering serious injuries.
Police said the punch sent him into cardiac arrest.
McCall, who allegedly fled the scene leaving passers-by to perform CPR on his brother, was initially charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.
In court on Thursday, a second charge of manslaughter was added.
The matter was adjourned to Downing Centre Local Court on August 13.
McCall remains on bail.
