Australia's boxing team received a Hollywood ending to the Commonwealth Games - but what else would you expect from Brad Pitt.
The Victorian house painter made history by becoming the first Australian heavyweight boxer to claim Commonwealth Games gold on Saturday.
Pitt, 24, downed India's Harpreet Singh 25-10 in their final at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
It followed Australian boxing team captain Jarrod Fletcher's stunning points victory over towering Canadian middleweight Adonis Stevenson.
Fletcher, 22, became Australia's third middleweight champion in Commonwealth Games history.
The big Queenslander held on to claim a 34-18 points victory against the heavy-hitting Canadian.
Despite enjoying a healthy points lead throughout the fight, Fletcher was in trouble at the end of the second round when he hit the canvas after collecting a huge left from the burly Stevenson.
Australian assistant coach Mick Daly admitted Fletcher was "gone".
"We got a little bit worried when he got sat on his butt. He was gone," he said.
"We knew it was going to come. We were just lucky it was the end of the round.
"But his boxing display was absolutely spot on today. In Australian boxing Jarrod's skill level is probably a bit above everybody."
Some choice words after the second round from head coach Bodo Andreass soon got Fletcher's head right for the massive task at hand.
"Coach just told me to get my head straight ... I couldn't stand around and mix it with him," Fletcher said.
"I had a fair bit of trouble out there, he caught me with a couple of big shots.
"I had to be very careful - he's a big, strong boy. But like coach said ... hit and move, hit and move."
But the pain of Stevenson's huge shots was quickly forgotten when he claimed the gold medal.
"It's unreal to do that in front of my homecrowd," he said.
"Winning a gold medal, in front of your homecrowd, it's got to open some doors up."
The Australian boxing team has also won four bronze at the Melbourne Games after featherweight Luke Jackson, lightweight Lenny Zappavigna, light heavyweight Ben McEachran and super heavyweight Steve Rudic lost their semi-finals on Thursday.
