Britney Spears' tour promoter has labelled as an "absolute fabrication" reports that fans have stormed out of her concert over lip-synching.
Paul Dainty told The Australian newspaper he was livid over the allegations.
"It's the biggest lie I've ever heard," the newspaper quoted him as saying.
"I'm so angry ... we can take heat if there's something wrong and people can review shows badly that's something you have to live with but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication."
Sunday's tabloid newspapers reported disgusted Perth fans who paid $200 for tickets to her Circus tour left Friday's concert at Perth's Burswood Dome early into her set, largely because she was miming.
But Dainty said Britney fans were already well aware she would be lip-synching.
"It's been all over the internet for nine months," Dainty said.
"The inference is that we tried to hide this. It's been the opposite."
Dainty said Spears' was also aware and "extremely upset" about the furore.
Burswood Dome has issued a statement saying it had not received any complaints from the 17,000 fans who were at Friday's performance.
Spears also held a second concert at the same venue on Saturday night which again attracted around 17,000 fans.
The Circus tour will move to Melbourne on Wednesday.
