Regional West Australian airline Skywest Ltd has become the latest air carrier to increase its fuel surcharges in response to the rising price of oil.
Effective from Friday the revised fuel levy for Turboprop routes will be $25 plus GST and $30 plus GST for routes serviced by jets.
Skywest last upped its fuel levy in September when the levy Turboprop routes rose to $22 and all other routes had a $25 levy.
Qantas Airways and Air New Zealand both recently jacked up the fuel surcharge on passenger tickets against the skyrocketing oil price.
