The pressure of constantly being in the public eye appears to take its toll on some celebrities — stars have been known to lash out when the prying cameras and personal questions become too much to bear.

Paparazzi are usually the ones on the receiving end of these attacks but sometimes the victims include regular members of the public, like the hotel clerk who came across an irate Matt Newton.

Kanye West was briefly arrested after he scuffled with a photographer and smashed his camera at Los Angeles Airport while other stars like Britney Spears and Hugh Grant appear to have walked away scot-free after clashes with the paparazzi.

Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes got into a clash with a photographer after he refused to delete a photo, telling him: "I need to look beautiful".
