The siren may have sounded for Aaron Harvie's time in the MasterChef kitchen, but wedding bells are now chiming for the rock-and-roll band manager.
Harvie, who was forced to postpone his wedding to former Young Talent Time star Natalie Miller to compete in the Channel 10 reality series, said he was looking forward to planning their special day.
"We are starting to talk about the wedding at the moment," Harvie told ninemsn.
"Obviously we've been waiting until the whole MasterChef tornado blows over but I think we'll start to lock in some decisions in the next few weeks."
Harvie, 37, was booted off the popular reality cooking series last night after failing to impress judges in a fish-and-chip challenge against Alvin Quah.
The beanie-wearing band manager, who took a risky approach to cooking in the series, lost out after his traditional fish-and-chips dish was judged inferior to Quah's Asian-influenced creation.
Though disappointed not to move through to the next stage, Harvie said Quah had beaten him fair and square.
"It was a tough challenge but I didn't deliver the goods," he said.
"I was proud of how I went on the day though and how I did in the competition. I'm a no regrets kind of guy so it's all good."
While Harvie admitted that many of the best cooks had already been kicked off the show, he said shock eliminations were all part of the competition.
"Jonathon and Marion are both brilliant cooks and I was sorry to see them go," he said.
"I think Marion was one of the best cooks in the competition but she just had a bad day in the kitchen.
"You've got to be on the money everyday."
As to who would win the competition, Harvie said he was divided.
"I would have to say that Adam is the frontrunner but Claire also has a good chance too."
"And I wouldn't rule out Callum that guy is like a sponge, he just soaks up everything."
