Country crooner Adam Brand, champion surfer Layne Beachley and swimsuit model Emily Scott are among the celebrities limbering up for Dancing With The Stars this year.

Television presenters Kylie Gillies and Matt White, footy legend Peter `Spida' Everitt, Packed To The Rafters actress Jess McNamee and blind Paralympian Gerard Gosens will also get their dancing shoes on for the Seven Network show.

Home and Away stars have traditionally performed well on the program, with Bec Hewitt, Ada Nicodemou and last year's winner Luke Jacobz all claiming the top prize.

This year Lincoln Lewis will represent the top-rating soap, facing off against fellow young heartthrob Rob Mills.

Lewis, the son of former Australian rugby league captain Wally Lewis, is facing controversy after news reports on Friday said he had admitted filming a sex act on his mobile phone and showing it to Home and Away colleagues.

Daniel MacPherson and Sonia Kruger will return to host the new series, which will air later this year.
