Radio host Craig `Lowie' Low will be back on Australian airwaves this week - and this time he's hoping his show will stay on air.
Lowie's Super Awesome Mega Mega Hollywood Show for the Nova network, will be a mix of celebrity gossip and A-list interviews from LA.
The comedian, who has had a turbulent career in both television and radio, says while the show has a "slightly egotistical" name it will be "down to earth larrikin, having a laugh and taking the piss out of Lindsay Lohan".
"I can say it will go for at least three weeks, which if I go on my previous track record it might be the longest show I've ever done," he told AAP.
The two-hour show will air nationally on Sundays from 5pm and will feature celebrity news, red carpet premieres and interviews with Hollywood stars.
"If you take Kylie and Jackie O's guests and put them on an Andrew G show, that's basically my show," he said.
Low, who has been involved in many radio shows over the years including Austereo's Hot 30 Countdown, recently gave up a national night show on Nova to pursue his stand-up comedy career in LA.
Only months later he was playing sold-out shows at The Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip.
Low says he has had no problems transitioning his jokes to an American audience, relishing the freedom that comes with not being known.
"The jokes that I do over here, I don't think I would ever do in front of Aussie audiences. Over here I can say whatever I want because no one knows who I am," he said.
"I would like to come back to Australia to show people what I've been doing but I'm too scared. I would be fired for the 190th time in my career."
Low is no stranger to the world of Hollywood A-listers.
"Beyonce smacked my ass once. That was fun, every man wants that," he said.
"Harrison Ford was a prick, but he was in Star Wars so we'll let that slide."
He says the worst people to interview are people just like himself.
"I'm about as famous as someone who has been kicked off the third season of Big Brother. And they're usually the ones with the worst attitude," he said.
His first show on July 3 will feature an interview with Lady Gaga and a tribute to Jackass member Ryan Dunn, who died recently in a fiery car crash.
He's urging fans to tune in - while they can.
"... any show Lowie does is only for a limited time. It's like McDonalds McRibs. It's delicious but if you don't get in quick you'll miss out."
