Cruise and Holmes land in Melbourne

They landed at Essendon Airport in their private jet shortly after midday (AEST) on Tuesday and travelled in a convoy of cars to Crown Casino in central Melbourne.

Their white Audi four wheel drive with tinted windows drove past a waiting media pack and into the underground carpark at James Packer's Crown Casino around 12.45pm.

Mr Packer has reportedly given Cruise and his family, including daughter Suri, use of the penthouse at Crown Towers during the filming of Holmes' latest movie in Melbourne.

Holmes' film, a remake of a 1973 TV horror movie Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, will be shot at Docklands in Melbourne.
