Australia's Next Top Model finalist Cassi Van Den Dungen has revealed she started smoking when she was 10 years old.

Van Den Dungen, 17, said she had faced constant pressure throughout the competition to kick the habit.

"I started when I was 10," she told the Herald Sun.

"I would smoke when I was really upset, every six months or so.

"I've cut down, but I'm still trying."

The Melbourne teenager is the favourite to take out the reality TV competition in the final on Tuesday night.
