The mother of Aussie cricket star Mitchell Johnson warned him that fiancee Jessica Bratich was "on his coat-tails" — while he tried to stop her posing for a men's magazine.

An embittered Vikki Harber continues her attack on the woman she believes stole her son from her in an exclusive interview with A Current Affair tonight.

"Obviously she met Mitchell at a time when he was so close to taking off and she's just rode on his coat-tails," Mrs Harber said in the interview.

"I was a single mum with Mitch and I put a lot of love into that boy because it was just him and me for a long time and it's sad to see my little boy get lost."

Mrs Harber said her relationship with the glamorous karate champion deteriorated when Johnson moved from Brisbane to Perth, Bratich's hometown.

The part-time model drew the media spotlight earlier this year after a knicker-flashing appearance on the red carpet at a cricket awards night, owing to an unwieldy silk gown.

"She's not even a person in her own right — she's Mitchell's missus," Mrs Harber told ACA.

Johnson's mum also reckons the Aussie fast bowler tried to stop Bratich from appearing in her first photo shoot for Ralph magazine.

She now appears on the cover of this month’s edition of Ralph.

"They had a big argument over it and he was over in India at the time and she was going to leave him and everything because of it," Mrs Harber said.

"When she did this [shoot] I said to my husband, 'We can see who is wearing the pants now'."

Bratich and Johnson are currently in England for the Ashes Tour.

Johnson's manager refused to comment on Mrs Harper's claims.
