A Victoria's Secret starlet has decided to quit lingerie modelling because she felt it clashed with her Christian faith.

Kylie Bisutti, 21, beat 10,000 others to become a model for the underwear company in 2009, but now said she wants to reserve her body for her husband.

"Victoria's Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise," she told Fox411.

"But the more I was modelling lingerie, and lingerie isn't clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith."

Bisutti was already married when she became a Victoria's Secret model but has now come to the conclusion that quitting lingerie modelling will allow her to keep her marriage sacred and special.

"My body should only be for my husband and it's just a sacred thing," she said.

"I didn't really want to be that kind of role model for younger girls because I had a lot of younger Christian girls that were looking up to me and then thinking that it was okay for them to walk around and show their bodies in lingerie to guys."

Bisutti said she will keep modelling but will not wear lingerie.
