Delta Goodrem has broken up with her 19-year-old boyfriend Nick Jonas, her manager has announced.

Goodrem, 27, started dating the teen singer in May last year.

"Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship," a press release said.

"At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths.

"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

The courtship began soon after Goodrem's engagement to former Irish boy band star Brian McFadden was called off after seven years together.

Jonas, who became a teen singing sensation in The Jonas Brothers, had previously dated pop starlet Miley Cyrus.
