Singer Katy Perry has been named as UK comedian and serial womaniser Russell Brand's latest conquest.
Perry and Brand were spotted kissing at singer Lady Gaga's MTV awards after party, the New York Post newspaper reports.
Brand — who was one of the award night's hosts — had earlier joked onstage that he had the hots for Perry.
An unnamed source told the newspaper Brand was seen admiring Perry's cleavage before leaning in for a kiss.
"They were sitting very close together, flirting and whispering to each other with their faces very close," the Post quoted the source as saying.
"Then Russell leaned in for a long kiss, it didn't look like this was the first time — he was looking extremely pleased with himself."
Speaking onstage earlier, Brand had joked about Perry's tight pants and said they were staying in the same hotel.
"I think I might have a bit of a thing for Katy Perry," he later said backstage.
A notorious womaniser, Brand captured worldwide headlines and was forced to resign from his BBC radio program last year after he telephoned Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs to tell him he had slept with his granddaughter.
Visiting Sydney in March, Brand's demonstrated his charm when he was photographed kissing a mystery blonde woman.
The woman appeared to be complete stranger who Brand had chatted up while she was waiting for a ferry.
