Watch: Jennifer Hudson sings 'I Will Always Love You' at Grammys

Hit drama Packed To The Rafters has ended the year on a high, with more than two million Australians watching the finale.

An average audience of 2.047 million tuned in to watch as Rebecca Gibney's character Julie Rafter gave birth to baby Ruby Louise.

It smashed its competition including 50 to 1 on the Nine Network, NCIS on Network Ten, A Good Woman on the ABC, and East West 101 on SBS.

But it wasn't the highest rating episode of the year - just pipped by the episode featuring the wedding of characters Melissa, played by Zoe Ventoura, and Ben, played by Hugh Sheridan.

Packed To The Rafters has been a constant ratings winner for the Seven Network since it debuted last year.

The second most watched show of the night was nature show Unlikely Animal Friends, with 1.378 million across the five major cities.
