Todd Lasance, a young star of Home and Away, has been arrested and charged with drug possession, according to reports.
Lasance, who plays Aden Jefferies in the Channel Seven soap, was charged after allegedly being found with cocaine during a police nightclub crackdown in Sydney's Kings Cross.
The 24-year-old was reportedly celebrating the long-running drama's Christmas party with co-stars at the Kit and Kaboodle bar when a police sniffer dog allegedly detected the drug on him.
A bag of white powder was then located, police say.
"The 24-year-old Collaroy man was allegedly caught during a drug detection dog operation at the Darlinghurst Road club, as part of 'Operation Unite', just after 11pm [Saturday]," a NSW police spokesperson said.
"He was issued a notice to appear in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 18 January 2010 on a charge of possessing prohibited drug."
Lasance's manager David Sheridan said he wouldn't be making further comment on the issue.
"It's a legal matter and Todd is co-operating with authorities," Sheridan told AAP.
Lasance has been on the show since 2005 but was set to finish next month as he attempts to launch a career in Hollywood.
He won a Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor at this year's awards in May.
The allegations are the second drug storm to hit the TV show this year.
In June, Jodi Gordon was reportedly found cowering in the bedroom of a bikie after an alleged drug binge at another Kings Cross nightclub.
The incident led to her split with Channel Seven heir Ryan Stokes.
