A Los Angeles fire truck has been swallowed by a massive sinkhole that formed after a water main burst.

No firefighters were injured when the engine plunged into the hole on Bellingham Avenue at Valley Village, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Streets were closed as authorities shut off the water supply and retrieve the truck.

On Saturday another water main burst, flooding homes and businesses on Ventura Boulevard.
