Some of music's biggest names have descended on Berlin for the 16th annual MTV European Music Awards.
Red carpet favourite Katy Perry stole much of the attention, undergoing several trademark wardrobe changes and squeezing into some of her cheekiest outfits yet.
Following on from September's controversial US show, in which Kanye West infamously crashed the stage to steal Taylor Swift's limelight, Beyonce again led the way with three awards.
Other winners included Tokio Hotel for Best Group, U2 claiming Best Live Act and veteran American rapper Eminem being named Best Male performer.
