99 cents a lucky wedding bargain

As far as lucky goes, how about a wedding that costs just 99 cents?

Nine couples in Los Angeles celebrated their nuptials at a bargain supermarket chain, the 99 Cents Only store.

The 9th of September is generally believed to be a particularly lucky date, so the newlyweds took advantage by taking a cut-price ceremonies on Sunset Boulevard.

After getting hitched, the nine couples were handed 99 dollars and 99 cents in cash before being whisked off to an undisclosed "famous romantic Los Angeles" location.
