It appears to leap from the sea and head straight towards a bridge but this giant white shark and its razor sharp teeth are merely an illusion for a spectacular light show in Japan.
The shark's image is projected onto a wall of water measuring 15m-high and 40m-wide and was photographed during the Odaiba water illumination show yesterday.
Other images include dolphins, dancing fish, colourful clouds, a whale and the maoi figures from Easter Island in the Pacific. The show runs until April 11.
