The National Zoo in Canberra has welcomed the second sun bear ever born in captivity in Australia.

The female cub, which is still unnamed made his first public debut at the zoo today after being born four months ago.

Found mainly in south-east Asia, sun bears are the smallest member of the Ursidae (bear) family, usually reaching a maximum of 1.2m in height.
