A waterspout striking land at Stockton Beach in Newcastle yesterday was captured on camera by ninemsn readers.
The amazing weather phenomena churned up water and sand for 15 minutes.
The images captured show the waterspout dancing above the water about 6.30pm until it crosses the bay and touches land.
