Readers share surprise proposals

A Melbourne man has sprung a Valentine’s Day surprise on his unsuspecting girlfriend, popping the question by using a sign for the CBD car park they use every day.

Robert Masters had the words “Jenny, will you marry me? Luv Rob” flash up on the digital screen for his proposal to his girlfriend of three years.

Mr Masters, 33, said he endured a “sleepless night” before the proposal, but was “all excited” after Jenny said yes.
