Rudd fans stake out his home

Former Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd was greeted by a crowd of media and supporters when he arrived at his Brisbane home this morning.

Rudd had just returned to Australia after announcing his resignation with a 1am press conference at a Washington hotel on Wednesday.

This morning he held a press conference at Brisbane airport but refused to reveal whether he would challenge Julia Gillard for the Labor leadership on Monday.
