A US man is unhappy after a surgical procedure to reduce the size of his 60kg scrotum left him with a penis less than 3cm long, The Sun reports.
Las Vegas man Wesley Warren Jr underwent a 13-hour procedure to reduce the swelling known as scrotal lymphedema, which left him with a watermelon-size scrotum.
The condition caused him crippling pain and seriously impacted his ability to walk, but the side effect of the surgery has taken away what he described as his "natural look".
What is life like with a micro-penis?
"I know the majority of people are probably expecting me to express extreme happiness and glee that my life has been transformed since the sac has been removed - but it’s not as simple as that," he was quoted as saying.
"What came out of surgery is a nub an inch long and it doesn’t get any larger.
"I'm grateful to have been pulled out of the fire, I was getting burned, but now I’m dealing with the first degree burns."
Mr Warren started suffering from the deformity after squashing his genitals as he slept one night in 2008.
Antibiotics failed to stop the swelling, forcing him to wear an upside-down hooded jumper instead of pants.
Unable to afford surgery to remove the bloated sac, Mr Warren finally received an offer from a California surgeon to take care of it for free.
Mr Warren requested to take the removed growth home with him after the operation.
