A curious dog stunned its owners in Victoria by finding a large copperhead snake and carrying it to them on its snout.

Bronson, an English Labrador, was roaming around Peter and Deborah Allen's property in Yarragon when he caught the snake.
"I didn't know [it was a snake] until I got right up close to it … It looked like a bit of car belt," Mr Allen told ninemsn.
"The first thing I did was yell to my wife 'grab the camera!', because otherwise nobody would believe it."
He said Ms Allen then found a chaff bag and used it to scoop the snake up while removing it from Bronson's snout.
Bronson was bitten during the ordeal and had to be taken to the vet.
"We took him into the vet straight away … they flushed it out of his system, they kept him there for four days on a drip."
Mr Allen said Bronson was now fully recovered and remained a "bundle of joy".
"He's still the same now. Hasn’t changed a bit," he said.
Mr Allen said Bronson had brought home other strange things before.
"He's picked up a turtle and brought it home," he said.
"And another time he brought home my mobile phone which I had dropped somewhere out on the property."
