Two men have been charged in relation to the shooting of a man at Coburg in Melbourne's north in January.
A 32-year-old man was shot in the buttock in the car park at Coburg Lake in Gaffney Street on Monday, January 4.
He is still recovering following surgery.
Armed crime taskforce detectives, assisted by the special operations group and clandestine laboratory squad, executed search warrants in Thomastown, Bonbeach and North Coburg on Thursday.
Ozan Yusuf, 34 from Thomastown was charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, firearm and drug offences including conspiracy to manufacture amphetamine and possessing an article for manufacturing a drug of dependence.
He appeared before a bail justice in an out-of-sessions hearing late on Thursday afternoon and was remanded in custody to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday.
An unnamed 33-year-old Bonbeach man was charged with conspiracy to manufacture amphetamine and possessing an article for manufacturing a drug of dependence.
He was bailed to appear in the same court on Monday.
