A baby elephant who became an instant celebrity following his dramatic birth has critically injured his zoo keeper at Sydney's Taronga Zoo.
Asian elephant Pathi Harn, dubbed 'Mr Shuffles' by the media, was initially though to have died during his mother's nine-day labour and his recovery made international headlines in 2010.
This morning the two-year-old elephant seriously injured senior keeper Lucy Melo when he pinned her against a bollard.
She remains in a critical condition.
