A teenager was reportedly gang-raped while walking home from her friend's house in northern NSW on Saturday night.
Police said the unnamed 19-year-old was walking in Lismore when she spotted three young men following her about 11.30pm.
The trio grabbed her and two men sexually assaulted her while the third watched, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Police said the woman did not know the men who attacked her.
Detectives are now asking for public assistance to identify three youths.
The first man is described as being in his late teens, of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, 170cm to 175cm tall and overweight.
The second youth was shorter, also appeared to be in his late teens and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance and had a round face and a big nose.
The third is believed to be a tall, lanky Caucasian man in his mid-20s.
