A man locked in a bitter development feud with a Perth council has resorted to extreme measures to eject a council worker from his land, picking up the man's car with a forklift and dumping it.
Video of the incident reveals the men locked in a verbal dispute before a forklift sweeps in, picks up the silver SUV and backs it down the driveway.
The incident took place on Brook Road in Kenwick, in Perth's southeast, on Tuesday.
The incident is believed to have been sparked by an ongoing fight between the land owner and Gosnells council over a development on his property, which has received public complaints.
The council confirmed the incident took place when a compliance officer showed up to investigate.
"Following an incident involving the property owner and city officers, statements have been made to Gosnells police who are now investigating," City of Gosnells CEO Ian Cowie told ninemsn in a statement.
WA Police confirmed the incident is being investigated but said no charges have yet been laid.
