A Jetstar passenger received a rude shock upon collecting his luggage over the weekend after finding the words 'I AM GAY' scrawled across his suitcase.
Twitter user aaronpp, a married father-of-two who visited Perth on Saturday, said he was "utterly disgusted" when his red suitcase rolled out across the carousel covered in sticker stubs.
As for who was behind the prank, aaronpp says he's drawing a blank as he doesn't know anyone at the airport who might pull off such a joke.
"I know nobody there. It was after midnight and the flight delayed over an hour… idle hands, perhaps," he tweeted in response to a question.
Jetstar has since apologised for the gag and told Fairfax Media it has promised to launch a "thorough investigation" into the incident.
aaronpp said he did not want anyone to lose their job over the prank.
